I find it that in order for your make up to set evenly and correctly, the "Mist opportunity" or any spray you decide to use, should NOT be sprayed directly onto your face but onto a powder brush. You should then apply it all around your face, as if you were applying powder. This also helps you refresh your face and gives you that natural look instead of a cakey powdery face!

MAC vs. Mark.
So yesterday I took a little trip to the mall, of course I had to stop by the make-up counters and compare some products! I decided to go with MAC and have them do my make-up with only the basic everyday wear products. I wanted to have a natural look and not look fake. Below I am going to list the products that they used on me and compare them with mark products.
Step one: They primed my face with “Prep + Prime Fortified Skin Enhancer”
Step two: They powdered my face with “Studio fix powder plus foundation”
Step three: They outlined my eye with black “fluidline”.
Step four: They also filled in the blank spots with “Powerpoint eye pencil”.
Step five: They used “Zoom Lash” mascara on my eyelashes.
Step six: The final step, they sprayed “Fix +” all over my face to set the make-up.
After looking at myself I wasn’t too happy about the results! My face looked orange because the “Prep + Prime Fortified Skin Enhancer” only comes in 4 colors; adjust, illuminate, neutralize, and recharge. She tried the neutralize color and it was to white so we had to go with recharge which has an orange tone. The coverage was good but I felt that my face looked a bit to cakey with the primer and “Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation”. The “Fluidline” I actually liked, and the “Zoom Lash” was good as well. However, the “Fix +” was too oily for me.
The total price for the 6 products used at the MAC counter was $121.50 + tax. Mark offers the exact same products with a total of $58.00 + tax you save $63.50 not including the taxes.
